Hope this mail finds you all well and after a good summer.

Pls note that our next Qurbana would be held on Saturday 12th August at 09:30 hrs onwards.

As per discussions earlier, it was agreed to hold Perunal during August / Sept as it corresponds with St Marys' Feast and better weather.

Accordingly, this year the Perunal celebrations will be held on 12th August. This would include Perunal Qurbana followed by Pradakshanam/ Rasa and perunal related activities. If weather permits, we will do some activities outside.

All are requested to come and join the festivities and receive blessings!

Note that this is also a Noamb / St Mary's Fast period( Assumption day 15th August), we will have vegetarian meals for the Perunal. All families are requested to contribute and participate in the celebration and meals.

This year our St Mary’s Church Norway goes to Hemsedal as part of the 2017 Annual Church Trip from 23rd-25th June and we are excited that you all are able to make it! We pray to God to bless our plans and trip.

On Friday 05th May 18:30 hrs, House Prayer/ Sandhya Namaskaram will be held at Shaji & Lelamma's home and all are welcome.

On Saturday after Qurbana and refreshments, it is planned to have a Outdoor Activity with short hiking trip to Kolsås toppen. This is a very popular climbing adventure and is commonly done by families. Only walking up is required and no rock climbing :). Kolsås toppen is approx 340 m above sea level ( at the scenic point). The starting point of the hike is approx 10-12 minutes drive from Church. All those normally taking public transport will be provided transport.

Please bring a good pair of shoes and dress in layers for we do not know how the weather could be on the day.

All are encouraged to bring some snacks sufficient for self & family so all can share. Hot Tea, small snacks and surprises will be waiting for all those who make it to the top.

It has been 7 years since the first Malayalam Qurbana was held in Norway and we are now soon approaching Perunal 2017 - an apt occasion to celebrate and thank the almighty for having blessed the Church and our community over these years.

Let us join together on Saturday 21st Jan at 09:30 hrs onwards to celebrate the Holy Perunal Qurbana and wonderful givings of God on this blessed occasion.

Qurbana will be followed by Perunal feast for which all attending families are requested to participate by bringing one dish each. More details to follow.
